<a href="http://kansieo.com">Create a video blog...instantly.</a>

Plain white vinegar is made from any distilled alchohol, but usually grain alcohol. The distilling process eliminates any flavor overtones. Wine vinegars are made from wine. As a result, they have hints of the flavors of the wine they were made from. these flavors add to the taste of the recipe they are used in.

In general, as far as I am concerned, if you are going to use the cheapest white wine vinegar you can find, you might as well just use plain white vinegar. That being said, I have found some good white wine vinegars at a local Dollar Store.

I wouldn't personally. Run out to the store and get the White Wine Vinegar. The taste is definitely different. Less....acidic. You can never really beat using the proper ingredients for something like that. Especially if other people are eating it too!
